My Sacred Life Project

I read about this recently on Melanie’s blog and I thought it rather fitting for me to do this right now as I return to center. What a cool thing to do.

According to Carla, My Sacred Life isn’t really a challenge — that sounds
too strenuous — it’s really more of a softening … into a moment, a
treasured possession, a companion — people, parts and places of your
everyday life that you cherish. Whatever is sacred to you.

So, today, I start. Actually, I started it early this morning about 2:30 a.m., when I could not sleep. My recent stressing is no more. I finally let go and let God. I realized I was trying to fight a battle that was simply not mine. Instead of focusing my energy on bullcrap, I am back to doing what is really important to me. Connecting with myself and those around me.

Stumble it! Stumble It!

  2. Welcome Lu!
“… fighting a battle that was simply not mine” - man, it is crazy how often I have done that! And like you, it’s that kind of weirdness that keeps me from much needed sleep. I don’t know why I even pick up the stuff I will eventually need to let go of.

    Hi Lu,
Thanks for visiting my blog. That way I found yours! Your site is so delicious that I will be coming often and checking out your links. I already trust you.

    Hugs,
    Sharry

PS How do you get that great logo up on your site? I seem to be stuck with boring templates.

I’m late to the “welcome, Lu!” party, but my welcome is no less heart-felt. Welcome to My Sacred Life!

Loved this post, too–that recognition moment when we realize this ain’t even ours to handle is a powerful one!
