The Fine Seduction of Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking

I tell you, scrapbooking will not let me go. It is not done trying to seduce me with new toys, papers and creative things. As a member of Story of My Life ’s design team, I get to work with the amazing kits Sara puts together before it can be ordered. I received the September kit and it is so colorful. Plus, she named it after one of my favorite Kermit the Frog songs…The Rainbow Connection. Check it out and order fast, her kits never last. I will share my pages and projects from the kit later this week.

For the past couple of months, I have been playing around with Wacom’s Bamboo Fun . Seriously, I find myself only using my tablet and pen when I am on the computer. When I scrapbook, I write on my pages 98% of the time…except when I do digital pages. With the Bamboo Fun, I can write on my digital pages. The pen is so intuitive and the handwriting looks just like mine. Not all jagged and messed up. It has also been helpful with editing my photography. I can retouch portraits a lot faster than I can using a mouse.

Digging through previous projects, I came across this one I did as a member of the Lazar StudioWERX Street Team. The quote sums up where I am in my life right now. Everytime I look at this spread and the entire book, it makes me smile everytime I see it.

I am glad you like the kit, Lu! That song is one of my favorites, too! I can’t wait to see what you come up with–you are always so creative and inspiring!
