Monday Positivity

For the past month, I have started my week off by engaging a few friends in positive email energy. We are all energy and you can decide whether to put more bad energy into the world or put good energy into the world. When I felt some bad energy flowing my way, I sent a question to my spiritual sisters and asked them the same question I am posing to you:

Right now, in this moment without much thought, what is the first thing that comes to mind that gives you pleasure and what are you doing to get more of it?

For me, I keep going back to my speaking engagement in San Francisco …being there changed my life. It changed my expectations for my life. It showed me what could happen when I trust God has me. I had no idea what was waiting for me there. I did not go with high expectations, but instead went with a sense of wonder and excitement. Today, I am open and looking for opportunities to share my art and words with others. I am looking to connect. Connect is my theme for the year. That word pops up in my art, my writing, my scary attempts at poetry, my thoughts and my feelings. I am leaping with excitement and enthusiasm, because God did not make a person filled with fear. I expect the greatness he has for me. I am claiming my gifts and using them to acknowledge him and praise him. I know the net is there…I can not see it, but it is there. I have nothing to fear.
